Genuine, natural henna is made by our professional artists using a powdered henna plant, mixed with lemon juice, sugar and essential oils. The paste is a dark brown color, and the initial stain is a light yellow-orange color. Over the course of a couple days, the stain matures to a darker color.
The length of time your henna body art lasts depends on many factors, including how long the paste is left on, how well you care for it, and your own body chemistry. Generally it lasts from 1-3 weeks. The first few days your stain will darken and develop. The strongest stain should last another 2-3 days before it gradually begins to fade as your skin naturally exfoliates.
