While I am LOVING my daily “Celebrate” painting challenges, I’m definitely not getting in as many hand paintings lately. SO, I wanted to do another one that has been sitting in my sketchbook for quite a while now. I did this with my little airline travel paint set, as my main one is packed away right now for an upcoming gig!
The actual painting took about 30 minutes, with some kid interruptions…but here’s a time lapse showing the whole thing in less than 2 minutes! Hope you enjoy!!

Happy world mosquito day! Okay, this doesn’t sound like a happy day. I hate mosquitoes! I live in Minnesota and they are often described as the state bird. When I was a kid my bites used to swell up to the diameter of a baseball…NOT fun! So, while I might paint you, mosquito, I do NOT celebrate you! Haha!

It’s world honeybee day! Awesome…I am also a beekeeper so I love these guys! Here’s a little texture I had fun creating with one of my HAS stencils, which has the comb shape. I filled them in with some capped and uncapped honey, and added a few bees!
