Celebrate Day 219: “Lighthouse Day!”

Happy lighthouse day! Today I decided to paint Split Rock Lighthouse, which sits perched up on the bluffs along lake Superior in my own home state of Minnesota! I’ve been there many times, and everyone’s favorite sunset cake was named after that lake as well, “Superior Sunset!” 😉

Celebrate Day 213: “World Wide Web day!”

Happy world wide web day! For today’s painting I played around with the idea of a high-tech spider building a web of circuits! The circuit board pattern was done using some Paradise brilliant silver, applied with a fingertip dauber, using the BAM 1220 stencil!  The glowing eyes are done with Liquid Bling in fire truck red.

365 Day Celebrate Challenge: July Recap!

Another month down!! The beginning of July marked the official surpassing of the half way point in my 365 day challenge! Woohoo!! 

 This was a tough month as I was so busy with everything that summer brings…including a 10 day family road trip! So, I had to paint ahead and schedule posts to make sure I didn’t miss a day.  I was able to paint my boys more this month too, being that they are out of school!
