Happy international rock day!  Coincidentally or not, today I am heading to Moose Lake, Minnesota to celebrate Agate Days! The Lake Superior Agate is the state gemstone of Minnesota, and I’m a big collector/hunter of agates. SO, today I of course had to paint an agate!!

For whatever reason, THIS day last year was the first day it occurred to me the idea to paint something every day to coincide with a celebration.  I can’t recall how I heard that it was cow appreciation day…maybe on a Facebook post or advertisement, but I thought it was a fun painting prompt.  So, here I am, a year later, working on the very challenge I dreamed up! This year I just did a little cow on my arm since I already did cows on my boys last year!
