Celebrate Day 192: “Cow Appreciation Day!”

For whatever reason, THIS day last year was the first day it occurred to me the idea to paint something every day to coincide with a celebration.  I can’t recall how I heard that it was cow appreciation day…maybe on a Facebook post or advertisement, but I thought it was a fun painting prompt.  So, here I am, a year later, working on the very challenge I dreamed up! This year I just did a little cow on my arm since I already did cows on my boys last year!

Celebrate Day 187: “International Kissing Day!”

Happy international kissing day! Today I thought I’d try one of those popular kissing fish designs you may have seen floating around the web, only my husband won’t let me paint his face so I just reflected the design! It looks more like I’m a fish kissing my own reflection in the aquarium, haha!

Celebrate Day 186: Bikini Day!

Happy bikini day!  MAN would I ever love to have the opportunity to paint an uber-realistic, amazing bikini for the Sports Illustrated swimsuit painting issue!!  But in the meantime, since I don’t have anyone readily available (or more importantly, willing) to paint an actual bikini on, I’ve gone with a couple minute painting of an “itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini!
