Christmas Cheek Art & Balloons

Well, our outdoor Christmas lights are up and while I refuse to turn them on until after Thanksgiving, I don’t think it’s ever too early to work on some Christmas face painting and balloon designs!  I put together a collage of my latest Christmas balloons, and a couple step-by-step cheek art designs for you today!

A few Christmas balloon designs I’ve been working on this week!

Here are a couple of my go-to Christmas cheek art designs, broken down into steps for you…

The poinsettia is done using a 1/2″ flat brush, loaded with just the pink and red of a TAG Berry one-stroke cake.  Outlines and highlights are done with Wolfe black and white, with the icing on the cake being the gold dots of Liquid Bling!

The snow globe is definitely one of the most requested designs on my Christmas cheek art board.  The globe is painted here using Wolfe Metallix blue, with Wolfe black and white for outlines and highlights/snowflakes.  Adding glitter to the blue really makes it…you can also try using some liquid bling for snowflakes! I didn’t add glitter in these photos, but this is one of those designs where glitter can really add the WOW factor!

These take me maybe 3 minutes…5 minutes tops if I really take my time!

I have many more Christmas cheek art designs that I will post in the coming months!  In the meantime, feel free to post requests for designs in the comments and I’d love to do one just for you!

Happy painting! 🙂
